Riaan Peene

Riaan joined Savills in 2015 as Senior Project Manager within the Building & Project Consultancy team and, as of November 2025, serves as Head of the department.

Riaan began his career in 2005 as a structural engineer and has extensive experience in the project management of commercial real estate developments.His expertise spans from the renovation and sustainability of existing properties to new-build projects and the execution of technical due diligence processes.

He is particularly experienced in managing the entire lifecycle of large-scale construction and refurbishment projects across various types of commercial real estate, as well as overseeing major due diligence assignments. His focus lies in adding value to existing properties and identifying sustainable solutions, all in close collaboration with the client.

He lives in Amsterdam with his wife and two childeren. Riaan is a team player who shows great commitment in his work and on the footbal pitch in the weekends.
