Martijn Onderstal

Martijn joined Savills in the beginning of 2017 and, as Head of Valuations, is ultimately responsible for the entire valuation department. He is considered a pioneer in integrating sustainability and ESG into valuations.

Martijn has over 17 years of experience in real estate advising real estate investors, housing associations, banks and (local) governments. He uses his expertise to train junior valuers and students. Before joining Savills, he was head of the residential valuation department at Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to that, he held various positions at DTZ Zadelhoff. In 2013, he received his Master in Real Estate from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate. Martijn is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is a RICS Registered Valuer, as well as a recognized European valuer for TEGoVA. He was appointed a HypZert real estate expert for Mortgage Lending Valuation in 2016. 

Martijn is a team player and mentor and a strong professional holding all relevant certificates like MRICS, MSRE and HypZert.
