Technical Due Diligence

Savills can carry out technical due diligence processes in all EU countries. A due diligence is an analysis of the condition of a property from a technical, environmental, commercial and legal point of view and it is often used for an intended property transaction. Savills mainly specialises in technical due diligence processes, but can also offer advice from an environmental point of view.

The objective of a due diligence may be:

  • Property transaction acquisition/sale: our report or one of our employees can help with further contract negotiations
  • Lending: we check the progress, quality and budget and report this information to lenders
  • Redevelopment processes: we prepare models for overall construction costs for the redevelopment of existing property.
